Hi All,
We are running Centos 4.x with Php 4.3.9 and MySql 4.1.2. We managed the upgrade path from 4.5.1h to 5.0.0a in the instance of sugar we are using - had to increase the timeout settings for the majority of services and simply returned to the upgrade section of admin and pressed the appropriate button to get it to move on each time it stalled.
Does anyone else find the folders are disappearing from the email module's interface? Onload the page has the folders, the group folder I set up and 'my emails' with 2 folders under it. I thought it was because I changed tabs at first, but then I tried switching straight back to the tab after switching away and the folders are intact on the page.
Yes, I can afford to look at another tab for about a minute - I wouldn't have tried switching straight back after short period without becoming aware that the folders disappeared without my changing tabs, I went for a cigarette and when I returned the folders had disappeared. Nobody touched my machine and the screen saver hadn't fired up yet either.
Other problem: When I select items, whether emails in email module or tasks in task module or really any module with check boxes for selection of items and a mass update button/section nearby I am finding that the system is asking me 'are you sure you want to perform this action on 0 selected items?' (or whatever precise phraseology is) - As much as I have tested, the items are being processed with the action, makes me think the javascript is o/d?
Whilst looking for a post relating to the email modules problem I came across acoliver saying that he couldn't mass delete the sample data due to a problem that sounds similar to mine about 'selected items', but he is saying the system won't process his request, our instance of sugar is processing the request on form post - just querying '0 selected items' each time.
Neither of these are killers, however the business with the email module seems a bit rough - the contents of the 'search' and 'address book' mini-tabs don't appear to lose their data, just under 'folders' all disappears and won't come back for any action less than reloading the entire page.
Can anyone state with confidence that this instance of sugar must have broken when I forced the upgrade path? Does anyone know of a 'clean fix' for either or both of the problems I indicate above?
Thanks in advance,
robsoles.
Ps. Forced upgrade path idea came from a post in this forum and it worked out as described in the that post - find it yourself if interested.
