5.0 - Close & Create New button missing in Activities

Hi,

Just seen that if you use the close button from an activity dashlet like Calls or Meetings (5.0.0c) or from the activity sub-panel, the button "Close & Create New" is missing. This button was there in 4.,5.1x.

If I call the Edit Dialog the button is there. Bug#25131 created.

Has anyone else had this issue and have been able to resolve it?

Hi,

This issue hasn't been resolved with patch 'd'. It is annoying for our customers which we have migrated to 5.0. Two further customers are unwilling to migrate until we have this issue solved

there is a condition in calls & meeting's editviewdefs.php like if the status of the meeting or call is not held only then the button of close & create new should not display. and when u come from dashlet the status changes from any to held. so the button will not be there.

so if u want that button u have to modify/add the condition

{if $smarty.get.return_module == "Home"}

then repair the module & see the changes.

i could thought of this condition only.

hi Malcom,

A question according to the close and create button. I have two installations same sugar versions When I use the first installation and I use the close and create new button everything works fine I close the call and create a new one the old call appears in the history. But the other installation nothing happens When I use the close and create new button the only thing that happens is a change of the date the call does not appears in the history do you have any idea
