    Default 5.0 email: send in plain text no carriage returns are seen

    I find that when I compose email in plain text and send it as plain text, no CR/LF are sent. Thus:

    111111111
    222222222
    333333333

    is received as
    1111111111122222222222222333333333333

    Is there a way to get the old email system back for 5.0?

    I'd love to know the answer to this. Considering how important clear communication is for a CRM package, I'm amazed it's like this.

    After giving up with HTML email, I switched to plain text and am embarrassed to learn how my email was seen on the receiving side. Luckily it was with a supplier and not a customer.

    Has anyone had any luck in finding a solution?

    That was from 2005. Obviously this problem is not a high priority to SugarCRM as the problem still exists I believe.
