5.0g tracker urls and campaign emails issues

Has any one else had this problem?

I am creating email invitations using the tracker urls. They seemed to work fine in 5.0f, however in 5.0g the urls don't get translated and sent out with the full tracker / redirect url and don't work ( dead links). Also, no matter what I put in the tracker url for a name, it always inserts "Default link text"

Further, it seems in all 5.0 versions I can not edit a campaign email once I have saved it. You are allowed in to do the edits, but they are not saved.

I cannot seem to figure why thsi would be happening. I have stepped back to 5.0f in the interim to use the trackers.

Partially. Links are fine - they show the full path on hovering with mouse over it but that doesn't disturb me. Links are alive.
The story with the default text is true - just show the email as html and fix it there manually. Easy but unnecessary.

I too am having this exact issue. In 5.0g its embedding the links as <a href="{Refer_a_Friend}"></a> minus style etc. and it's not converting the link back. I have tried also putting in the full sugar generated link from each individual tracker but again no love, it does change it to the right link this way, but does not report any click throughs back to the campaign.. I have tried with and without spaces in the tracker name as per another post.

I have everything else working in relation to the campaigns, just not click through tracking..

Is this just an issue with the 'g' release. Does anyone know what was changed in regards to tracker links between 'f' and 'g'. Unfortunately I have already upgraded both our production and test environments to 'g' so can't test in the older version.

Hi,

Tested it again (on a brand new 5g version and on an updated one) - no problems for once. Links look as they should, arrive correctly and click thrus are registered properly. Here's the link as shown in the HTML view of the email editor:

Here is:<a href="{a_little_sugar}"> Some stuff from my site</a>

The "some stuff.." I entered manually because of the "default something" that Sugar puts in here.
