5.1b - Global Search for Leads Stopped Working

Global search (top right corner) for leads stopped working after the upgrade to 5.1b. Companies, contacts and apparently all other modules are fine. On a new (5.1a) version that was upgraded as well it works. This one hasd no customizations.
Restoring 5.1a but leaving the DB rectified the issue. Customizations aren't functional ones but just added fields.

Got the problem after upgrading from 5.1.0a to 5.1.0b.
After deleting <sugar>/costum/modules/Leads/metadata/listviewdef.php unified search worked again.

I looked at a diff between patch a and patch b and the lead module got a lot of bug fixes, but I didn't found to route cause of the problem yet.


Update:
Found to problem -> field "account_name"
In case field "account_name" ist in ListView unified search isn't working.
I changed to field "account_name" with the new field "acc_name_from_accounts" and unified search worked again.

Cool that you found the problem. But I guess we will see a 51b(1) pretty soon given the number of messages that pop up here.

I just implemented 5.1.0b(1) and the problem still exists. But I could fix it by doing as you said without introducing any new fields - just deleted listviewdefs in custom/leads and re-created it in studio.

nice that you found a fix, but there still remains the problem that one cannot search for leads with their "property" account_name (ie the accounts not yet listed in accounts module)...

but i think especially in leads you can have persons from firms which are not yet in accounts module.
Think one should be able to search with this property in leads module

Or is that a false feeling?

Yep. This is a known bug and should be fixed with the next patch (or so they say...)
