Default 6.3.0 Search using Chrome returns to previous page

    Hi,

Just upgraded to 6.3.0 (good work) and a small problem. Using Google Chrome and do a search and good for first search. However once click on results and try to do another search and will return results and then immediately return to previous screen that was working on.

Tried to replicate the same using Internet Explorer and no problem at all.

If I log out of Sugar and back in again then all works for first search again but then second search will go wrong again.

    Thanks for help.

I no longer have the problem at once.
I'm under Administration - global search - a few modules activated. Since the search function!

    Greetings

    Hello,

I experience the same problem in both Chrome and Firefox. IE seems to be working fine.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

I've noticed this issue in both 6.3.0 and latest 6.4 beta. As previous user 'KlaDiMu' indicates, it is solvable by adding one or more additional modules to global search. Go to ADMIN>>GLOBAL SEARCH and drag a disabled module from the right side to the left side, save, then try Global search again.

Correction to previous reply. Making the change to modules searched for global only works the first time. Subsequent searches return to previous page even though results should be returned.

Has anyone confirmed this bug? We are also observing the bug on 6.3.1 using Chrome on OS X. Safari does not exhibit the problem.

Also, carrying out the global search poke didn't work for us, even for a single search.

    We're using 6.3.1.

The repro step which seems key is starting from the Contacts tab. Had no issues with Safari, FF, or Chrome, until I selected the Contacts tab, then tried the global search. Once it goes off the rails, it doesn't seems to unbreak even if you do the global search from the Home tab.

    Same here.
    SugarCE 6.3.1, Firefox
It returns to the most recent viewed Contact, after showing the results of a Global Search shortly...
