6.3.1 page rendering problems & delays

I just upgraded from 6.1.6 to 6.3.1 on OSX 10.6 and am having problems. I upgraded in two steps to 6.2.4 and then 6.3.1 logging out between the two.

1. I'm getting long lags in pages loading and they just hang with white space. If I try to reload the page sooner than about 20 seconds nothing happens, but most of the time after 20-30 seconds the page will load and render correctly with load times just under 2 seconds (long).

Also There are a variety of other issues.

2. On the lead page if I create a new call log item for the future and save it, the main Leads page does not render properly and the entire Activity section between the horizontal rules is blank except for the ^Activities header. Clicking the the header sort arrow to reverse does not help. If I reload the page the future scheduled call is there and has apparently been properly saved to the data base.

3. On trying to email a contact I am not able to load Email Templates into the blank email forms completely. The subject line loads correctly, but the body is not modified from the existing. However the 'No' button works correctly and will cancel the change, then allowing me to close the form window.

Rebooting the server does no help.

Using alternate browsers does not help.

No other changes were made other than the Sugar upgrade.

I don't really know how to trouble shoot these symptoms to get to the root of this, but Sugar has become all but unusable.

TO sort this out you are going to have to find your logs. One of them should be in /var/logs/apache2/error_log and another would be the sugarcrm.log and upgradewizard.log file in your SugarCRM home directory.

If you dont see anything in those, zip them up and post them here and we can take a look.

I would also check permissions and things like that, it might be that something didnt get upgraded properly or got corrupted somehow.
