    Default About deleting user

    Hi folks,

    Ubuntu LAMP server 6.06 amd64
    SugarCRM 5.0 Community Edition
    Apach2
    MySQL 5.0
    PHP5

I can't remove/delete a user after him/her once created. I can deactivate and terminate him/her. Afterward he/she can't login. But his/her record is still on SugarCRM. Is there the desgin of SugarCRM?

If I want to delete his/her record completely whether I have to do it on MySQL? Please advise. TIA

    Hi satimis,

Yes, the system is designed so you cannot delete a user unless you do it in MySQL. The reasoning behind this is that if any records were created by that user or assigned to a user, you do not lose this historical data
Intelestream has a great deal of experience hosting and customizing the SugarCRM application. Our company is made up by former employees of SugarCRM, and together we have over 50 years of experience working with the application. Hi sugarcane,

    Thanks for your advice.

    I created an User. Before releasing SugarCRM to him I tested his email service creating many records on SugarCRM email system on his account, in particular as follow on "Outgoing Mail Server" item;

Emails --> Settings --> Mail Accounts

On "Outgoing Mail Server [system - satimis.com] [Add]

I found many entries there after testing. I can't find an easy way to delete all of them collectively. I have to do it manaully one by one.

selecting --> Edit --> clear all entries --> Save
    then deleting one record, etc.

It is quite time consuming if there are >10 records. Is there a shortcut/easy way?

    TIA
