Access control

Hi, I did search for a thread on this but couldn't find one so am starting a new thread.

I'm using SugarCRM Open Source - I've used it before at a previous organisation and I love it. But there is some functionality I now need that I don't know how to get ...

We are a consulting firm and we want to allow our clients to have access to our content within SugarCRM. But we want to choose who can see what. Ie, we want our people to see everything and we want each client to be able to see only what we allocate to them.

I can't see how I can do this with "roles". Is there another way please? Are there any add-ons developed by the community that would give us what we need?

UPDATE - I clearly didn't spend long enough searching for this in the forums coz I have just found a potential solution. I'm using SugarCRM open source Community Edition Version 5.1.0b (Build 4905).

I have learned that I need to load CE Teams. I have downloaded the files to my desktop and I am just figuring out how to load it using the module loader.

Hope I haven't wasted anyone's time.

You might be better off with 5.0(i) ..... 5.1 is still very buggy and the functional differences between them don't warrant the pain & hassle (IMHO)
