    Default Access denied for one user when creating attachment using Thunderbird plugin

    We recently started using the Publydig Thunderbird Extension for SugarCRM. Everything seems OK, with the exception of one user having problems. When they use the plugin to archive an email with attachment(s), they get back the following error:

    Error on creating attachment <filename>
    40
    Access Denied
    You do not have access

    The email archives OK (as does an email without attachments) but it doesn't have the attachment. The problem appears to be a Sugar permissions thing, as I've tried it on the same computer with different Sugar logins with the same teams and roles and this problem only occurs for one particular user. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Is that same user able to login to Sugar and create a "Note" entry, preferably one with an attachment?

    Yes, they can create both a note and an archived email with attachment.

    I just archived an email (failed on the attachments, but archived the email itself) and then went in and added the attachment through the web interface. So it's definitely not a general permission thing, it's like is permissions specific to the soap interface.

    This is weird. I even made the user a system administrator which, if I understand correctly, means they should be able to do anything, and it still doesn't work.

    I've been looking through the code, and the access denied comes from the check_modules_access in SoapSugarUsers.php when it check's the user's write access to Notes.
