    Default Access denied for user 'admin'

    Could not connect to server localhost as admin. port . Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

    Hi,
    I got this message, when I opened the link to my system. It is hosted on a virtual server. Could anyone help me? It is urgent.
    The database mysql is running, and I have access via ssh.

    Sugar 5.2.0j, Apache, Linux

    If the server has phpMyAdmin try to connect to sugar mysql database using the same credentials you configured on sugar installation.

    Maybe MySQL server is down or something wrong with database connection.

    Hi, I have access to mysql database, but still, if I try to open the database, that error message stated above reappears.

    Try to log on phpMyAdmin using the root user and update the password to sugar user, then update config.php accordingly.
