Default Account Subpanels are collapsed by default

    Hi,

I have installed SugarCRM 6.0.3 through a web hosting company. I imported all of the data from a previous version of SugarCRM and that is all working correctly.

However I have noticed that when you go to the account, all of the sub-panels are collapsed by default. In previous versions of SugarCRM, it always showed you the list in the subpanel by default, since all of the subpanels were maximized. At the moment I have to click on all of the down arrows to show the lists within the subpanel (which is really annoying).

Is this a known bug/issue for this version of SugarCRM? Or is there a configuration setting somewhere that I can change this?

    Thanks in advance!

This is likely due to a Sugar setting in your config.php file.

Open it up and look for a setting labelled 'hide_subpanels' and 'hide_subpanels_on_login'. Set their values to false and try again.

Default Re: Account Subpanels are collapsed by default

    Hello Angel

    Thank for your tip.
In my case I could replace the "true" in both lines to "false". But after logout/login there were no change. I am also in shared hosting

Could there be something else wrong?

    [UPDATE]
I just saw, that another file is present called: config_override.php
In that file both entries existed with "false". After changing them to "true" it is again wokring as expected.

Thank you for your tip. And to all others on shared hosting (with SugarCMS installers) please chec for "override" file if changes does not work.

    All the best
    Anders
