I need to set up a CRM where the initial accounts are universities. What is sold to them are presentations of a service for their students (something the universities are involved in too). I assume the universities are set up as accounts, with presentations as meetings.

Now, what comes out of this is a list of student leads. These students may go on to purchase the service.

The question is, do these students then also become accounts in their own right? If so, is there an obvious or standard way to link those accounts with the university accounts that they are related to (since the university is still involved in the service, and would require reports of the students at various times)?

My initial though is that the students would be contacts of the universities, but you cannot sell a service or product to a contact, only to an account. Have I got that right?
