    Default Accounts not showing proper user

    hi everyone!!!

    have a small problem with accounts not showing the correct user they are assigned to..
    Contacts leads and everything else show correct user.. the problem is that lets say I have 2 users
    named user1 user2 ... lets say user 1 creates an account, when he views it it shows the account as being assigned to user1. but when user2 looks at the account it shows its assigned to him. not user1.
    when a user tries to assign the account to someone else it does not assign..all it does is send the notification email saying an account was assigned but the assigned to name shows the name of whoever is looking at it not who actually owns it.

    I have looked at the DB and the field is there and it has the number for the specified user. but the accounts doesnt pick it up for display

    any ideas

    sugarcrm version 4.5 upgraded to 5.1 nix version

    Try to rebuild relationships: Admin > Repair > rebuild relationships

    tried that a couple times now..
    I think it may be referencing the wrong table
