Activities not closing

I'm having an issue with sugar crm 5.0.0f

When I close an activity and create a new one, the closed activity still shows up in the activities list. The new one shows up as well as the old one. I've changed the old one to "held" and it still shows up in the activities list.

Also, when I convert a lead into an account it creates several activities that have no information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Spencer,

Which Activities list are you looking at, where you expect the closed Activities to disappear? Is it a subpanel in another module, a Dashlet on the Home screen, or some other list? A screenshot would help.

It's in the activities list that I get to from clicking on "activities" on the top menu.

Ah okay. By default, Sugar does not filter out past Activities in that list. If you'd like to filter them yourself, you can use the Advanced Search panel... it's also possible to fill out a Saved Search and prevent them from ever showing to your user.

Another issue I'm having is when I convert a lead into an account it creates 3-5 activities for that lead... any ideas?

Activities are created and are linked to the original Lead that you converted? What are the Activities called? Is it the same set of Activities every time?
