    Default Activity and History

I've scoured the entire forum, and manuals but can't find anything about this.

I am trying to export the activity and history for account, lead and contact from Salesforce to import to Sugar. My client is moving to Sugar and I'm managing the project.

The general export from Salesforce doesn't take the activity or history and I can't see in Sugar where I'd import it anyway. I've successfully imported the data relating to the contact etc by customising fields.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction.

I'm using Sugar Prof 5.2.0 Beta

To import within Sugar, click on the Activities tab. On the left hand side under the Shortcuts, you will see: Tasks, Meetings, Calls, Notes. Click on the activity type you wish to import. Then, in the shortcuts, you will see an import link for each module.

    Hi Carla!

In Salesforce there is only one module called Activity under this Tasks , meeting e.t.c , comes
But in SugarCRM there are separate modules for each activity like Task ,Meetings .

In process of data migration from Salesforce to SugarCRM , you have to import Meetings data under meeting module of SugarCMR and task data under Task module ,

A simple work flow for Activities data migration from Salesforce to SugarCRM
step 1) export Activity data from sales force
step 2) filter all records based on different activities like Call , Meeting , Task and make separate files for each activity
step3) import in SugarCMR in separate modules.:- under Activity module click on Call ->import and import Call records . Repeat same for Meeting and Task

    This may help
    Regards
