Add field in Quick Form

Hi,

I am trying to add a "Lead Source" Field to "Quick form" in "Opportunities", but not able to find from where to add.

Please let me know ASAP.

Hi Neha

You can do this through Admin -> Studio -> Opportunities -> Layouts -> Quick Create.
If you want to customize the left Quick Form so you need to add the code by hand at modules/Opportunities/meatdata/sidequickcreateviewdefs.php. You have to copy this file into custom/modules/Opportunities/metadata and add the field.

We have moved a file to the specified location and did modification as per requirement. But the changes are not reflected in the application. what could be problem?

Try to copy the file modules/<ModuleName>/metadata/sidecreateviewdefs.php into custom/modules/<ModuleName>/metadata/sidecreateviewdefs.php and add the field by hand.
