Adding create opportunity on the left side panel

Hi Guys

I have a pretty hard question(for me i guess lol) regarding sugarCRM.

How can i recreate or copy the "create opportunity" in the opportunity tab and make it visible to the other tabs? like if i put it in the home tab, there will be now "New Contact" and "New Opportunity". Thanks and more power!

operating system: windows xp
sugar suite: sugarCRM community edition 5.1.0b
webserver: apache 2.0
php: 5.2.6
mysql: 5

menu is created from Menu.php of each module. you can overwrite you menu from custom/modules/OTHER_MODULE/menu.ext.php

where OTHER_MODULE belongs to the module where u want to see create opportunitity link
copy the link from modules/Opportunities/Menu.php

and paste it to the file mentioned above.

i hope it works. if not try repair & rebuild ..

thank you heta for your help. i now can edit the menus but what i'am looking in particular is the quick side create opportunity. what if i want to put a quick side create opportunity function on the home tab, how will i do this?
