Adding A custom Field in List View under search

I am trying to add a custom field in the list view when I click the search. Right now the list view has default fields and I can choose to show the fields when search is completed which are only default ones. However I have some custome fields that I would like to show instead of default fields. When I go to studio--> Edit Module--> Leads--->Edit Layout---> List View, I do not see any custom fields there.
Can someone guide me to right direction please

Well this turn out to be Internet Explorer Problem too...Worked fine with FIrefox.

I just had this problem:

Solution (at least the one that worked for me) - I think it is a refresh problem, or database update problem. Once the custome fields are added to both Edit and Detail views save and publish them, then make sure they shouw up in those views. If they don't, do the follwoing. If they do, do the follwoing anyways. Now, this is the critical part: Add the field to Advanced search. Search for a record. Then go back to studio, the custome field should show up in the list view
