Adding custom fields to LEADS and ACCOUNTS

Hi,

I have a number of custom fields that we are capturing in a lead generation part of our business. I want to import these leads to SUGAR LEADS. So I have created the additional fields and added them to LEADS. Do I also need to add the fields to SUGAR ACCOUNTS so that when I convert a LEAD to an ACCOUNT it will carry the information over?

you should create same field in account.
now if you create account through convert to lead, the account create function also take custom field value also

thanks...so if I am planning on CONVERTING the leads, then i don't need to create them in ACCOUNT. They wil automatically move over upon conversion, right?
