Default adding custom fields for student application

    Dear Sugar Forum,

Im trying to use customize my SugarCRM to manage a handset of student test scores (about 10 tests only) - how can I add custom fields to each account/contact record?

I know there are several open source training systems (Moodle, etc) but Im not looking for a online training, simply a place to store contact info, notes, issues, issues, etc. along with a few test scores.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

You can easily add fields to the Contact module using the Studio. It's built into the product and your modifcations are safe from upgrades if you use this tool. The Sugar Wiki has some information about how to do this. Check out these links for starters.

Yeah, you can approach this by creating custom fields using the Studio within your Sugar instance.

Take a quick look here, hope this would help you either: http://www.openapp.org/open-source-c...-custom-fields

    Regards,
