    Default adding fields for import

Hi all, Im doing a import for the first time and don't see where to add the Contect name and Title for the company from the database Fields to merge with. Am I missing something or do I need to add them some where..

If you look at the pic, which ones would you use for the Contact Name and Title for the contact person of the account?

It seems you are attempting to import into the Accounts module. However, it seems as though your source data contains both account and contact data.

This needs to be done in two steps. First import the account data into the accounts module and then use the same source data to import into the contacts module. Assuming you map the company/account name as part of the contacts import process, the contacts should automatically link themselves to the account with the matching name.

Not via the built-in import tools.

You'd have to use Talend, custom code or some other third party tool if you want a more flexible process.

Well, it is not like installing Word where you are just going to install it and away you go. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it is quite powerful.

    Hi mylove4life,

Were you able to compare solutions? With Talend, you'll be able to perform the import. And once you've used the tool for your project, you'll be able to work and use it on other data management projects.

    Best!
