Default Adding fields to layout - Save completely messes up the fields

    Hi,
I've added a few custom fields to the Contact module.
Then I wanted to display these fields on a form.

So the first thing I did was add some rows to the edit view:

Then I dragged the fields to it

Looks good doesn't it? Now this is what happens when I click save:

As you can see the layout is all messed up, I get duplicate fields and some are missing.

I have tried it over and over again, I even deleted the fields and started over again.
I have tested this with both Firefox and Internet explorer.

This really shouldn't be happening, who can help me out ?

(The problem is also documented here,
or for those of you who want to trackback: http://blogs.homelinux.org/2007/01/2...ems/trackback/)

Operating System for the server: Ubuntu 6.10 Server
    Sugar Suite Version 4.5.0g
    Web server type: Apache 2
    PHP: 5
    MySQL 5.0

    Hi

i had the exact same problem ---- refer to this wiki article --- there in an update to StudioRowParser.php which from my experience totally corrects this behavior

    hopes this helps
