Default Adding options to email "Quick Create"?

I am using CE 5.2.0j and let's say I get an email from a Contact who is a Lead and the email discusses an Opportunity. I want to create an Opportunity directly from within the email module, but the "Quick Create" drop-down only has a few options and Opportunities is not one of them. Is there any way to add things to the drop-down list? Or is there another way to accomplish this task without leaving the email module?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Not another way to do this within the email as currently setup.

NB - you can't create an Opportunity for a Lead

You could hack the email module but I wonder if you'd get a return on investment ... it's only a couple of click to navigate to the Contact and create the Opportunity from there.

Interesting. I guess I used "Lead" wrong, but that is good to know -- sorry about the confusion.

Anyway, if I get an email from someone who is already a contact, then I have to leave the email module to create an opportunity, then return to the email module to attach the email to that opportunity I just created? Since opportunities mean money to me, it seems like that would be something I would want automated and made as simple as possible. I guess the same would apply for creating a meeting, a call or a project based on an email. I love that it is so simple to create Contacts, Leads, Tasks, etc, but why stop there? Am I missing something?

(I don't mean that to sound rude or smart, I am a new user of SugarCRM and don't even know how much I don't know)

    Thanks,
    Tim

I guess I "fixed" it myself by not relying on the email module in Sugar but, instead, installed the Thunderbird plugin which lets me relate any email to an already established project, opportunity, account, etc. or create new. Seems like a cop-out, but it works.
