    Hi Sugar folks,

    I have a bunch of contacts + leads I've added to a target list for an email campaign.
    The target list is coming from a report, which filters out people with no (or bad) email addresses.

    The campaign has already started, and target list has been added to the queue, and emails have started to flow.

    If I fill in email addresses for some of the people who previously had blank email addresses, is there any way I can include them in the campaign so that they get the campaign email too?

    I think Sugar does not send a campaign email twice to the same user or email. We noticed this behavior when we were testing the functionality (finding bugs). Recipients didn't show up twice or more after we have "Send Emails" multiple times - only new ones.

    Therefore you could just update your target list and send the campaign emails again. BUT please test it on your installation, I don't want to be responsible if your clients receive an email multiple times.

    Thanks for your help.

    Heard back from Sugar support on this one too, and wanted to post the response in case others are interested:

    If the campaign has already been queued to be sent to the target list, if you add email addresses to some of the targets that are in the target list, the newly added email addresses will not be queued to be sent to. The campaign will only be sent to the email addresses that were in the target list at the time the campaign was set to be sent.

    What you may do is create a new target list, and add those targets to the list for which you added email addresses, and then send the campain to just the new target list.

    mhm funny..

    when i hit Send Emails on a campaign
    the Email Queue populates all the targets which have been processed in it

    it haven't start sending them yet
    but will SugarCRM filters out the already sent ones when it starts to mail?
