Additional Contact module?

Can I create a second Contact module within my Sugar installation? I wish to do this in order to have easy access to a database of suppliers as well as customers. Perhaps the answer is to take a different route rather than create a duplicate contacts - any help or ideas apprieciated.

Hi Tim,

the simplest thing would be to create a type field in the Contacts module, where you can select whether the person is a customer or supplier (a type field already exists in the accounts module). Then, you can add this field to the list views and search panels so that you can easily search for and see who is what type.
