    Default Administration impossible

    Hello!

    SugarCRM installation : OK
Use of SugarCRM : OK (possible to create Accounts...)

    ...but I can't admin SugarCRM.
i.e. 1 : I tried to modify an dropdown list via Dropdown editor. I made my changes and I saved them.
When I try to check the requested changes in the application, the dropdown list do not take into account my changes.
i.e. 2 : I tried to use my logo via System settings. I saw the preview in System settings, I saved but my logo do not appear.

I use the Admin account to make these changes and I do not see any error message. I do not understand.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks for you help,

    Vincent

Try going to the admin page and click on the repair selection.

Select the top, Quick repair and rebuild.

This resets and updates things in the cache and meta data.

Let us know after you have done that if it still doesn't work.

    Thanks Paris

PS In the future make sure to add you version and OS!

    Hi Paul yeo,
    It is my first attempt.
Have a look at the following page : http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/index.ph...=OS&Itemid=375
You will probably find the information you need to install SurgarCRM.

    Hi,

It sounds to me that your Apache user doesn't have write access. If you Sugar is installed on a Linux box, try changing the file access rights to 777 for all files, then retry.

    Hope this helps
    Cheers Malcolm
