After upgrade from 451 to 500d, notes not linking correctly

We just upgraded our CE install to 5.0.0d. When you view a lead and try to quick create a note, the note saves in the database but the PARENT_ID and PARENT_TYPE is set to NULL.

I can go into the notes section and set it correctly, but it doesn't work in the quick create section.

Anyone have an idea where I should start looking?

We found the bug.

The RELATED TO field was removed using Studio. When that filed is removed, anything that is created using quick create is not linked to the parent id.

This worked in all the previous version. I am going to submit this as a bug.
