    Default After Upgrade Parts of the Modulebuilder are broken

    I keep running into <b>Catchable fatal error</b>: Object of class MBModule could not be converted to string in <b>C:\htdocs\sugarcrmDEV\include\utils\LogicHook.p hp</b> on line <b>97</b> in the modulebuilder when loading pages. This appears at the bottom of the error box after the {Stuff} Two places I hit it are when trying to edit the Labels and when trying to add or edit a dropdown.

    This seems to be the same error in 2006 http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?p=256399

    Please, clarify the version of your SugarCRM instance and PHP.

    I was having this error as well and was able to track it down. I have submitted the patch to the Sugar repo: https://github.com/msnider/sugarcrm_...9138dff13e2b5a

    I was having this error too when clicking in Labels on the left tree menu inside module builder:

    PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class MBModule could not be converted to string in {mycrm}/include/utils/LogicHook.php on line 97, referer: http://{mycrm}/index.php?module=ModuleBuilder&action=index&type=m b

    mattsnider patch work for me in Version 6.2.1 (Build 6405)

    on file include/utils/LogicHook.php add the following if statement:

    93 | function call_custom_logic($module_dir, $event, $arguments = null){
    94 |+ if ($module_dir instanceof MBModule) {
    95 |+ $module_dir = (string) $module_dir->getModuleName();
    96 |+ }
    97 |+

    98 // declare the hook array variable, it will be defined in the included file.

    Thanks mattsnider

    Cheers
