Alert when a task is copleted?

Hello All
I've hunted around for an answer but can't find one. Perhaps someone knows the answer to this question.

When a task is assigned to a user, and the user completes the task, is there any way to alert the creator of the task that it has been marked completed?

Not via built-in functionality, but you could use a logic hook to do that.

The custom code in the logic hook could check if the status is changing from pending to completed and in turn, send the alert when appropriate.
