Good evening,

We have been using the CRM-CTT for years now, and when we heard about SUGAR we started considering to migrate our system to it.
Today we migrated the entire contents of our old CRM to a new installation of SugarCRM (the community version).
To that point, no problem whatsoever.

The problem now is that we need to notify all users involved each time any change is made on a Sugar object (cases, tasks, etc)

Given the case of Mr Smith entering a new case and this case being assigned to John by Mr Smith, we need that BOTH Mr smith and John receive email notificatons.
Currently, only the "assigned" person is notified. The rest do not.

Is there any way to do this? because we really need this, it's the only limiting factor I had to go to definitively sugar, but it is critical for us.

This is a very interesting topic which I consider very important.
In my case, we could make 5.1.0CE to send emails when modifying the value in the assigned_to field in custom modules (this functionality only works with built-in ones). This is not big effort by means of logic hooks.
But, what I consider most important is to add the feature of "flowchart", so as to define actions (triggers) in case of changes in the fields / relationships.
I remember someone asked for functions like before_add, after_add, before_edit, and so on.
This could solve this issue, and could also add a very valuable feature to the CE.

you need to make changes in jsalerts.php .... which is present in /include/javascript/jsalerts.php
