Sugar Cummunity edition Version 5.1.0b (Build 4905)
Plesk Linux share hosting, no access to php.ini
Apache/2.0.63 (CentOS)
MSQL 5.0.68
PHP Version 5.1.6
all my files are set to 766 and all directories are 777

I'm on a share hosting plan. I have to write to tech support each time I need to change ownerships on some files and directories. I have done that several times to get sugar to work. I initially had problems to go through installation because of that Thread here .

I'm done with installation and got it working, but each time I use a new area of Sugar where the script create new files and directories, these are created under owner apache. Then the script and myself can't access these files. Is there a way to avoid that???

How can I configure Sugar to create all new files and folders under the same user that the php files are running under.

Thanks,

Pat
