Am I stupid? E-mail campaigns

Please, help me determine if I'm stupid. I'm trying to get the e-mail campaign component to work in 4.2.0 patch d and it's not working work a crap.

Has anyone out there using Sugar Open Source 4.2.0 patch d gotten the e-mail campaign manager to work as advertised?

It sends, some times (if I do multiple e-mails per campaign or send it multiple times, the queue says it's going out but I never recieve it) and the tracker URL's are linking through but not tracking in the graphical display nor are they opting people out.

I'm about to give up and go buy octeth. Please help me. I'd love to use the project management and forecasting capability, but I'm getting rather fried at my inablility to get this thing working.

I'm happy to RFTM, but I can't find the manual for the "appropriate" version. I even bout the Sugar book, but it's for an old version and doesn't go into nearly the detail necessary.

you can't do multiple emails per campaign to the same users. this is a "new feature" they introduced recently. It's something to do with the de-duping technology they added I think.

you have to do a new campaign each time.

Okay. I'll try that tonight.

However, I've still not figured out how to get the "viewed" to show up. Is there a tracker URL some where that will make that get picked up?
