I have 10,000 organisations in my Sugar DB, but about 20% of the organisations change the names and contact details of their key people each year.

I have access to an Excel file each year that contains all the current information and want to use this to update the Sugar Contacts DB to make it current.

Each organisation has a unique ID field that will allow matching, followed by inspection of key fields to ascertain if they need to be updated.

If the Sugar field has been updated in the past 30 days, manual intervention may be required to determine whether to update to the new external data value or retain the value currently in Sugar.

Has anyone developed the code to undertake this type of updating process, or know of a developer who is available to develop the necessary utility.
