I recently received some help on debugging the actual searchfunction in my sugar 4.5.1 app running on Win XP SP2. In the course of this debugging and module repair Sugar was re-installed and my data was restored. The person helping me set up Sugar to open on my machine (which serves our network of 2 other computers) at http://localhost/sugar45h
When I initially installed the software I had it set up at 192.168.xxx.xxx-no problem all my computers could access it and everything was good. I have checked my firewall settings-for MySQL it is set to allow access from the workgroup and external. But now that it is set up as localhost I cannot get my other computers to access.
The url in config.php shows the following:
'db_host_name' => 'localhost',
and further down:
'site_url' => 'http://192.168.X.XXX:XX/sugarcrm'
I have tried connecting to the server machine from the othe machines using the site url, the ip address of the server and cannot get a connection. The served computer gets the blue screen with the message cannot connect. I test the connection settings and they come back OK.
The url's I have tried are the ones that are in the install_summary.txt file.
I have searched Wiki and the forums. Tons of posts on problems like this but none of what I read helps me solve mine. I'm betting this is a really silly thing. Just frustrating because when I initially installed usingthe IP address there was no issue-it just happened.
Looking forward to help!
