Any issues using SugarCRM Commun Edition with large number of Contacts

Hi all - We are going from 500 Contact records to around 30,000 Contact Records in the Community Edition.
I was wondering if there are any issues that we should be watching out for, like:
1. Performance issues ... Sugar slowdown...longer waits for screen refresh?
2. Any known Bugs that surface with lots of records?
3. I am guessing that there are large Sugar installations with way more than 30,000 records already and that I am worrying for no nothing?
I am asking specifically for Community Edition ... We run the Pro edition as well but would prefer to use Comm Edition for these records.

You are not going to find anything different in the behavior between Community Edition and Professional (or other editions) with regards to this point.

The software itself doesn't impose any limits, so the real issue is whether or not your hardware is adequate for the intended load.

Also, I would strongly urge you to use MySQL as your backed versus MS-SQL.

Great thanks Angel. Yes, we use MySQL on Linux ... I'll give it a try @ 30,000 records.
