Any way to create "mashups" in Studio with external web apps?

Is there any way to use Studio (or some other simple method) to create "mashups" with external web applications? I'd love to be able to display account specific information from our ERP system on the Account detail page for an account. I'm not really interested in creating a new module or importing data from our ERP into the Sugar database (we have hundreds of thousands of accounts). I suppose I could always modify the source of the Account detail page, but that's really a last resort.

If there were a way to create a <div> and fill it with an AJAX call or create an iFrame, that would be great.

Ken Brill presented a Sugar Mashup talk at SugarCon yesterday. Matt's blog entry on the Developer website gives a good recap of the talk. Hopefully after SugarCon's over we can convince him to post a recap with some code snippets!

OK, I am just home from SugarCon (wow!) and looking for Ken's Mashup notes, too. Apparently, Ken got into a little Mash and couldn't get the notes up as quickly as he intended
