Anyone got SugarCRM 2.0.1c on FC3, MySQL 4.1.7, PHP 4.3.9 working?

I got this combination (SugarCRM 2.0.1c on FC3, MySQL 4.1.7 ( Client API version 3.23.58), PHP 4.3.9, Apache 2.0.52)
The installation of SugarCRM stopped at Step5 (Unable to select database). I did convert the the sugarcrm mysql user using the old_password() conversion, also tried to use the mysql root user. The installation still did not go through.
I also tried to install SugarCRMGA 2.0.1. That didn't work either.
The SugarCRMGA 2.0.1 works fine with MySQL 4.0.22 on a Debian SARGE server.
I don't know what the problem is now. Is it the MySQL version or the SugarCRM? I could connect to the sugar database with the same mysql user that I supplied during the SugarCRM installation.

If someone has any idea, please advise.

Hello, everyone.

It's my faults. It got my setup working now.
The problem was with "SET PASSWORD FOR 'mysqluser'@'localhost' = OLD_PASSWORD('password')

I don't know why I did that conversion several times before but the installation still did not go through. One thing I subsequently did different was disable SELINUX on my server. I'm not sure if that was relevant.
In short, the SugarCRM 2.0.1c on Fedora 3, MySQL 4.1.7, PHP 4.3.9 combo is working. I am using all Fedora RPM packages except Sugar.
