    Default Apache Default Port 80

A novice question here but I hope someone can help. We are running SugarCRM 5.5 on a LAMP server and everything is working beautifully. Our Cisco router is configured w/ port forwarding on Port 80. Recently we installed a Windows Small Business Server 2008 and one of the apps on it requires port 80.

Can someone describe the steps required to change the default port 80 in Apache on the LAMP running SugarCRM?

    1. Say that your new port number is 90

    2. edit the file (may be in different directory) /etc/httpd/ports.conf

    3. Find this line- Listen 80

    4. Replace with the following line – Listen 90

    5. Save the edited file

    restart Apache
