    Default Apache as a service?

I've just downloaded and installed the latest SugarCRM/BitRock bundle onto my XP Home box.
All appears to work OK, except Apache runs in a Command box rather than be installed as a service.

Any advice on how can I get Apache automatically starting would be appreciated. My knowledge of WAMP stuff is poor so apologies in advnace if this is a really dumb question.

    Thanks

    Andy

I'd look at using XAMP instead of BitRock. You can get XAMP from www.apachefriends.org.

XAMP gives you the option to install both apache and MySQL as a service. If you do so, make sure you turn off Windows' World Wide Web publishing service, otherwise Apache won't be able to start.
