Archived Email?

Okay so this is what I want to do:

I want to send an email to a contact associated with an account.
I noticed the 'Create Archive Email' option. I created it and it seemed like a normal send email kinda thing, but it had a save button instead of send. When I save this archived email is it actually being sent? Id did not appear in my sent folder, but is in my all mail folder.

I don't know, seems like it would send it- Just want to make sure I'm using this the way I'm supposed to.

No it is not sent. It was ment for you to archive emails that you sent by another method like a blackberry or some other email client. It is just ment to store emails sent elsewhere into an archive in sugar. You can also archive emails you sent in sugarcrm. It is a way of keeping emails without cluttering your general inbox and sent Items.
