Maybe I'm just missing something obvious, but I can't see how to easily archive a sent e-mail and attach it to the desired opportunity, contact, etc. (I'm referring to using the 5.0 Community Edition e-mail client with no Outlook add-on...no Outlook period.)

It would seem to me that the logical way for Sugar to handle things would be that I can click the "Compose E-mail" button on the opportunity page, then the e-mail I compose and send will automatically be linked to that opportunity. That doesn't seem to work. I am just taken to the e-mail client. So it would seem that there would be an easy way to attach the new e-mail to the opportunity, but I can only find workarounds that take two or three steps.

I know I can import received mail easily and assign it to the desired opportunity/contact, etc., but sent mail is automatically put into the Sent folder and can't be treated this way. It's just as important for me to archive what I've sent a client as it is to see what a client has sent me.

Am I missing something? Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Thanks and best regards,

Mark
