Assign fields to users

Is there a way to assign certain fields to users. We have a field named assigned in the accounts module that shows which sales person the account is assigned to. I would like to have this field be viewable and only editable by the sales manager. We have sales people that are currently tagging accounts that are not theirs.

Any help would be appreciated!

Field level ACL are available in pro and enterprise editions but not in the Community Edition. It can be programmed but you would have to hire a developer or write the code yourself.

Field level security is available on Sugar 5.0 PRO and ENT versions. There is video presentation available here http://media.sugarcrm.com/50tutorial...ity/index.html
