Assign multiple Users to a module

Hi,

I would like to assign a Contact to multiple Users but realise that this is not possible using Sugar CE.

I'm happy to modify the code but have no idea where to start, has anyone attempted this modification and, if so, can they give me some rough pointers about how this could be achieved?

Rather than modifying the code, you should consider purchasing and installing the SecuritySuite module (eggsurplus.com).

As a side note, there is an upgrade-safe way to manually add additional user fields similar to the assigned to field, but Sugar security would not respect the values they contain. The required security changes would *not* be upgrade safe, should you need them to be applied to said fields as well.

could you provide more details about, "manually add additional user fields", I don't need the final product to be secure or upgrade safe.

Create a related field associated to a module of your liking and then manually update the corresponding records in the fields_meta_data table to point it to the Users module.
