Default "Assigned to" field not filling properly from .csv import

Hi I'm a new Sugar user and I'm looking for some clarificaton on an import problem. I have read that prior to 5.2.2 when importing to Sugar from a .csv file the "Assigned to" field defaults to the logged in user. The post indicated that 5.2.2. may fix the problem We are using that release but still having the import problem. Is that still a problem or am I doing something wrong? If it is still a problem does anyone have a work around?

Have you tried to put the Sugar user login in your csv column, this should work unless it is a true bug ?

No, I haven't tried that. I'll give it a go and let you know. There are some entries that I would like to leave open for the time being. Know of any way to do that?

Re: Sugar 5.5.2 patch - open for nominations

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Release Community Edition Ver 5.5.1

When importing Accounts the "Assigned To" field defaults to currently logged in user and not the value that is in the import CSV file.

When importing Contacts the "Account Name" field does not get linked to the actual Account record already in the database even though the name in the import CSV file is identical to the already stored Account name.

All the above were working correctly in version 5.5.0

    Submited Bug Number 36326

Hi the Account Contact link import issue is a known bug.
I've heard of a workaround which consists in putting the Account Name column at the last column of your csv file.
    This should solve your issue.

I'm having the same problem (sugar version 5) and am confused at the solution--what "Account Name column" do you speak of? I don't see this Account Name option in the Database Fields drop-downs in the csv import screen.
