    Default Assigned user ID's do not match each other

    Ok, so I didn't do any major modifications to the system other than customizing a few fields. When I go to Leads/Accounts and try to search by user ID for example John Smith, I see his full name "Jiohn Smith" in the search. When I click on search, it replies with no matching entries. When you look at the assigned user ID in each lead, it's set up as "jsmith" so I'm thinking this is the reason why this is happening, but don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

    Hi,
    Maybe check the SQL query that is used in the logs in: your_sugarcrm_root/sugarcrm.log.
    Look for something like : accounts.assigned_user_id in ('f654e87e-5d23-6a16-b4fe-47118d3efc6a')
    Check in the DB if the user's id is the same.

    How do I change that if that is the case anyways? I'll be honest, I'm learning all of this stuff as I go along.

    If the user's id of your SQL query didn't match with the user's ID in the DB, try to create an other user to do the same test. There is maybe an issue with you user "John Smith". I'm not a Sugar Expert, but when I'm in front of issue like you have, I try different possibilities to find the source of the problem.

    I checked the DB and the logs and the user ID's are all the same. Any suggestions on what to do next to figure this out?
