Default Assigning a case to a group with SecuritySuite

I am using Sugar 5.5 with Security Suite. How can I assign cases to groups? Many posts on the forum explain that this is possible, however I have no idea how. I already assigned a couple of users to a security group but I dont see this group under "Assign to". CE Teams doesn't look like it works too well with the version of sugar I am using, so that's why I'm not using that for what I need.

You should see a Security Groups subpanel under the Case detail view near the bottom. Here you can assign as many groups to the case as you'd like. If you don't see the subpanel you may either need to run a Repair & Rebuild or you need to set your role to enable the Security Groups module.

I see it now. I assigned a test case to a security group, however, how do users within that security group know that a case has been assigned to them? It does not appear in the "My assigned cases" dashlet, I suppose I need to instruct them to look elsewhere?

To see all cases that they have rights to edit the dashlet and uncheck "My Assigned Cases". Alternatively, what many organizations do is have a My Assigned Cases dashlet for those directly assigned to a user and an All Open Cases dashlet which that checkbox is not checked.
