How can we assign a Note/Attachment to more then one Client? THis doesn't seem to be out of the box functionailty, will I have to create a new one-to-many relationship between notes and contacts to acheive this?

Yes, there is no other way to accomplish that. You need to create a relationship.

I created a one-to-many realtionship between notes and contacts and it caused alot of issues. Pressing the Select button for Contacts under a note caused issues regarding the query limit. After 10mins waiting for the popup to show a list of contacts it failed.
Maybe it just will not work as it goes against the way they are set up out of the box.
