On assigning a record to a user in Meetings module, no email notification goes out. Notifications work fine for other modules such as Accounts, etc.
Even the template for Meetings confuses me. When I look at the template, it starts with YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO A MEETING, etc. Shouldn't it say YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A MEETING for this assignment of record.
Invites to other members and non-members in the Meeting Module is not important. I just want the user, the record is being assigned to, get notified.
I did go in deep and enabled logs in send_assignment_notification method. No email acitvity was recorded for Meetings. I try to put in something like check_notify = TRUE in Meeting.php in modules/Meeting folder, and even though this causes the log file to record email activity, still no emails arrived at the target email.
This has really been a big problem for me for long, and I really need some help.
