Attachment Upload: "Cannot find server"

I seem to be having a weird problem with the Create Note or Attachment screens -- almost always with HTTPS.

If a file is attached, we get the standard "Cannot find server or DNS Error" after hitting Save (our_example.com/index.php is shown in the address bar). We had the problem with 4.2, and have recently upgraded to 4.5.0d but the issue persists.

Sometime F5/Refresh will post the data, other times not. The error is produced consistently.

I checked DNS, config, and searched the code for any rogue header( Location: ) issues. No luck.

Anyone have any hints or experience similar behaviour?

Figured it out -- it's an IE6 bug with SSL/HTTPS.
